WTB: tanks, primary light

Post by DSander »

I'm in the market for an HP100 or HP120 if anyone has one. I'd prefer one that was still in VIP and Hydro. I'm also looking for a primary light. I just bought a whole bunch of gear, including a great back-up light so the $800-$1700 for a new HID canister is a bit steep right now. If anyone has one in decent shape that they'd like to get rid of let me know.

I will second the recommendation for a Dusty's light. Both my wife and I have one - excellent quality and half the price of retail. You can contact him through this forum - Dusty2. If you order one now you could meet him in Pt. Townsend on the weekend of the 23rd and he will also give you an awesome tour of the Point Hudson dive site. You can see them here: http://underthesound.smugmug.com/Underw ... /i-bxwtsMW

My wife's light over a year old and is going strong Dusty stands behind his stuff.

or look at the DRIS 1k shorty, or the Light For Me Backup Tec XML if you arent hip on hanging a can.

another light to check out is the HOG morph it is labeled as a back up but it has the punch to go the distance and will go 60 to 80 mins on high with no noticeable power drop. cost is about 130 and it is about 1/2 the weight of the shorty. I love my shorty and have it mounted on a goodman handle but is is heavy for its size.
