FS: HP80 Steel Tank

Post by Iqjumpuw »

Hey guys

I have a relatively new HP 80 steel tank for sale. I got it as a gift (brand new) last year. The sticker shows 8/2013. It's obviously in great condition. I'd be more than happy to let you try it out.

Make me a reasonable offer. I will post pictures later.

Thanks for looking guys!

It's XS Scuba tank. Is $220 a good price?

Yeah but I thought HP tanks cost more? Usually much more. How much can you usually get a HP80 tank for? I hope to let it go for a reasonable price.

The tank is great but I got a HP100 :)

As a point of reference, UWS had the Worthington HP80's for $230.00 at the DF this last weekend. They'll go back up to $329 now that the fair is over, but if you look online there are folks selling used HP100's for aroudn $240/tank. So for an HP80 the used market price is probably closer to $175/tank (give or take).

FYI, Underwater Sports was selling the HP80 for $259 during the dive fest weekend. They sold the HP100 for $295.

I can drop the price down to $200 if anyone would like to pick it up. I'd drop it lower if the tank is old or is in bad condition but it's less than a year old.
