Yep. I don't have the cash yet for majority, if they fall through, I'll update.

Hey kdupreez,

I've got two HP 119s with current VIP up for sale at $275.00 each and they are not selling very fast. I see you sold a bunch of HP 100s for $300.00 each. What gives? I thought HP 119s were in fairly high demand. Can you help me out with some info? I am a sport diver only and when I bought them I thought it would be cool to have that much air. Turns out I am freezing my ass before I ever use a whole cylinder so I bought 2 HP 100s to replace them.

That is a great price on the 119's - surprised they haven't sold yet.

Great price on 119's for sure!!

The only thing I can think of is that 119's are in the middle between the 100's and 130's for size and volume..

In my experience, usually 100's are great for nitrox doubles, shorter/medium build divers with OK consumption, the 130's are great trimix doubles tanks and perfect singles for bigger/taller divers with bigger air consumption.. the 119's are not great for either of these categories.. they are tall and skinny and heavy and shorter/medium build divers with OK consumption dont need that much gas and dont want the weight or height of the tanks..especially for doubles.. And for taller/biggger divers with higher consumption, they can get much better bang for gas volume buck in same weight/height tanks using 130's.. and for trimix doubles they are not great because of gas volume is on the edge of what you want for the 200-250 dives..

so in short, its a in-between volume tank thats tall and heavy and folks rather get 100's or 130's for either end of the spectrum..

That said, they are GREAT tanks and I'm surprised they havent sold yet..

Thanks so much for the info. I am starting to get some interest in them now, both here and on Craig's list. I guess I just need to be patient. Thanks again.
