Hmmm? 40% O2 clean isn't really what most would call O2 clean, as it isn't enough to allow partial pressure blending.

You will likely not get the price you are looking. I have a set of double 100's with the 7/8 neck and they have kind of lost their popularity. They are not BAD tanks as I love mine, and its great that you already have the manifold for them, but you tend to see these go at a cheaper price then the 3/4 neck..

just my 2 psi

Lots of confusion here...
1) those are 3/4" neck worthingtons (based on the special permit number shown).
2) "clean for 40%" is not "O2 clean" and is not suitable for partial pressure blending.
3) UV light will only detect gross contamination and is not suitable for deciding if something is suitable for high pressure oxygen.

Oh duh my bad. I quick glanced them and thought they looked to be the 7/8. I stand corrected

No worries man, I had to look up the SP number myself (I don't have those memorized lol)

Just FYI to the OP, you can get a brand new set of hp100s for just under $850.

I realize these have a fresh hydro, but they still aren't brand new.

FWIW, the Dive Gear Express set comes with Faber tanks. The Fabers will add about 8 pounds of buoyancy over Worthingtons. I know this because when I was diving singles, I started out with Worthingtons. I was wearing just enough weight so that at 500 psi at 15 feet, I would fin pivot. Wanting extra tanks I picked up some Fabers. Without testing anything, my first dive with the Fabers was on a boat dive. At the end of the dive while on a safety stop I had to load up on rocks to stay down. Same drysuit and wing as with the Worthingtons. Now that I'm in doubles I'm trying to stay with the same tanks.

tanks for the input guys :) but 600 bucks for a clean set of doubles is not bad and if 800 plus at dive gear is something that is wanted for new zinc tanks that is cool but serious thanks for the info. I am sure it is all completely accurate and not opinion, I don't claim to know everything just repeating what was told to me.
