WTB: Small Travel Wing

Post by jmartel »

Looking for a smaller wing to use for traveling to places with non-frigid water. I've got a 35lb DSS wing on my plate for local stuff, but I'd like something in the 17 or 20 lb size, maybe up to a 23lb?

DSS makes a 17, 20, and a 26 but not sure anyone makes a 23

I've tried the DSS 17 lb wing and found it a bit small to keep me comfortable on the surface during rougher conditions. (I'm 6'-1" and 205 lbs.) I currently use a HOG 23 lb wing with a stainless plate for warm water diving. The extra lift comes in handy, and the wing doesn't 'taco' around the tank.

Hog makes a 23lb wing.

This will be used with an aluminum plate.
