Masterline Oxygen Booster - SOLD

Post by boydski »

Masterline Oxygen Booster for sale, located in Olympia, Washington. In nearly New Condition with only 28 hours (total) of run time.

MasterLine Service Manual and seal replacement tool is included. Asking $7000.

Model 7000 A-2 electric oxygen booster requires 125 Volt, 15 amp power. It includes a push button, stop-start station that is attached to the frame for ease of use. It is an ideal booster for Rebreather and Technical Diving, Dive Shops and Medical facilities that re-fill oxygen tanks.

This is a very sweet electric booster that boosts Oxygen up to 3500 psi, and will boost Argon, Helium and Nitrox up to even higher pressures. It is very simple to use, simply hook it up, push the button and it fills tanks, deco cylinders, etc.

Good Morning Jeff,

Officially, it requires a minimum inlet pressure of 300 psi. In real life you can scavenge Helium or Argon down a little lower than that if you're not boosting the pressure all the way to 3500 PSI. In other words, if the cylinder you are filling is at 1000 psi or less, you can go lower. The "stopping" point is pretty obvious as the pump will start to labor too much.

I wouldn't go below 300 psi for Oxygen. It's cheap and goes boom with too much heat. And I'm sure you know that boosting helium is hard work.

I removed the cover from the booster last night and added a few photos. It's spotless inside.

I'd love to find a good home for the booster. Who is building your dive boat and what is it? Curious minds...

I bought a 25ft Whaler, getting trailer brakes fixed right now, then talk to Zieglers in Olympia about fabricating a bench and roll aways. Still figuring how to stow scooters

Sounds like a great boat. We used to store the scooters on the hard top of the Almars and North Rivers. I've also put them on the swim step, which makes it easy to drop them in the water on a lanyard on arrival at the dive site (clears up deck space). That also works when clipping them off to a buoy on a shot line.

I've got to pass on this for a couple of reasons.

1> Its too heavy, where I need to put it, in the shack would need supported, and I have no way to get under there now.(Mistake made when had them putting the shack in, theres no additional support across like 16ft, so I keep heavy stuff off of that area, and its butted up again my shop, so cant get in there to add support
2> For my CCR usage, its way to big if I have to make a small mix of custom gas into a 19. If I was just banking gas, this thing is light years faster than my AGD75.

Sorry Scott. Its a hell of a deal.

No worries Jeff, thanks for letting me know.
To answer you question about Scooter Stowage on the boat. We made racks out of 2x6's for the hard tops that were similar to this:

On the swim step, we would stand them vertically and strap them to the vertical rails that you can see in this photo (right side of transom):

the stand isnt a bad idea in thinking about it, if I can attach and detach to the bench perhaps, thus move it out of the way, or even into the cuddy if needed
