I've got a pair coming out of hydro and viz now. They are wicked negative bouyant, however I've got my HP130's in for my doubles, and I don't think the wifey would be thrilled about sporting these gorgeous monsters. Pics to come!
$400.00 for the pair, or $250.00 each.

Edit: One of these days, I'll have an appropriate title.
Beuchat 15L steels (2) $400.00/pair, $250.00 each

Re: Beuchat 15L steels (2)
Some people have asked, the 15L steel is effectively 106CF at 3000psi, and 125CF at 3500PSI.
The advantages of having a heavier bottle is less weight on your belt or in your pockets.
The disadvantage is that they are heavy out of the water too. 0] But fortunately, Beuchat sold their bottles with low profile handles that you carry the bottles with.
Pictures will arrive later, if I get home at a decent time. 0]

So what fill pressure are they rated for?

Make sure you don't let anyone try to spin in standard US treaded valves. A dive shop in Florida did that and had catastrophic results. Beuchat got sued because they didn't have a warning printed on the side saying that metric and US threads were different. That's why they got closed out so cheap in 95/96. I sold a ton of them ... let's see ... that means ten?

Update from Wally, Looks like they are LP only, so that makes them 106's. The valves are original, so the threading is not an issue.

These came in a 300bar 4500 psi as well. I had 2 sets that got the threads screwed up at hydro becuse they did not know about the metric thing. check them well before you put them in service.rcontrera wrote:Make sure you don't let anyone try to spin in standard US treaded valves. I had forgotten about the hydro thing. There were so many screwed up nation wide that all of us Reps were given loaner "spuds" for our dive shop customers that needed them for their customers' hydros. I think in the two years that I had one, it only went to three dive shops. Mine disappeared with a dive shop that closed up in the middle of the night and I was just too cheap to pay the $50+ to get another one made.

Hydro is complete, and the bottles are filled. I expect to be picking them up tomorrow.

Okay, I've got the prices, $400.00 for the pair, or $250 a pop, or trade for HP100's (I would add).
