Ok, we all pitch in $1k and we will keep it at my house :angelblue:

10w salvo HID on the decostop. he dropped it to $350 and now is asking for best offer:
Salvo 10w fixed focus. Still running ~4 hours last time I used it. I took the soft handle of and added a regular Goodman. I'm the first owner, and it's been used ~20 times.

I bought this guys wing, he seems to take care of his stuff. I think if you make him an offer he'd take it.

Not CL, but a sweet deal -
Hi,

I have an Explorer 40 for sale. It's a great wing; selling because I don't use it anymore after buying an Evolve.

It's got a bad case of the fuzzies that certain Halcyon wings all seemed to develop, but the shell and inner bladder are both solid, and it dives just fine.

$75 + actual shipping costs from Philadelphia, PA.

Thanks,
Ari

That is what I thought. I made a rope/PVC ladder for my Zodiac but have never had to use it. Heck, if you can get out of a swimming pool without a ladder you can get into a inflatable.

Agreed - the transom, and sides are low on inflatables, but that ladder would make life a lot easier, especially if you're solo diving. Would also make things a lot safer for those us who mustang suit in the winter.

Probably better explained with a picture:

A mustang suit is essentially a thick nylon suit that provides insulation and floatation. They are not water proof, but for boating in Alaska in the winter they're the cat's meow. If you fall into the water with one on, getting yourself back into a boat can be almost impossible even if the boat only has a foot or so of free board. It can be done, but it's hard. I fell into the water while wearing a float coat, not a full mustang suit, and in order to get back on board had to drop all the way into the water and then swim around to the ladder. Luckily we were trying to get tied off to a mooring bouy(I leaned too far over) and I had mates with me to get the ladder down, otherwise, I would have spent a very cold night on the beach.

A mustang suit isn't a piece of dive gear, but more a boating safety item. I wear mine a lot when I'm deer hunting, pulling crab pots or just camping. It's always on, especially when I'm by myself.

I can't remember now if the Coast Guard considers them PFD's, but they will absolutely float an adult. We use them on the Raft tour here in the summer, mostly just for the wind break.

Hope that helps.

I just wear my dry suit and keep it zipped, I would just just clip my gear off and push it inside the boat and then follow it in after if I was solo diving.
