Hey All!

Post by coachrenz »

I guess I need to post an introduction to comply with the terms of service and to prevent my new account from being deleted.

So, I am here, I am the same coachrenz that can be found on the other boards as well.

Heh, sorry for the (seemingly) strict guidelines, but we just want you to introduce yourselves so we can give you a big group hug as soon as you do! \:D/

Welcome to NWDC, hope to meet both of you in the water soon!

God I hate group hugs...reminds me of my MIL. She'd not only hug me, but put a lip-lock on me..Ugh....first time I met her...scared the crap out of me!! :pale:
Being from a german background I certainly wasn't used to that!!! :smt119

Alaska Trip

Post by kjc »

Tom Nic wrote:Hey KJC how was Alaska? Juneau? Sitka? We're wantin' some details of the diving!
I had an awsome time!

The diving was great, as always!

I wanted to help Dave out some, so I made sure to clean the boat really well! I made a nice breakfast for everyone, and bought Beth a lot of groceries for the house too!

Juneau was absolutely pristine!

It snowed a lot while I was there! Like almost 2 feet! I felt totally at home there!

I got a chance to play in the snow with Trace & Cody, Dave and Carleen's 2 sons. I toured all over town, and got a chance to really enjoy it! Dave showed me all around, and we talked a lot about future plans and stuff! I got a chance to explore the Alaska State Library, which was facinating!

The trip in total was more of a social visit then just diving this time.

I really appreciate knowing Dave & Beth and their family in Sitka, and Dave & Carleen and their family in Juneau!

Very Cool! Dave and Beth are great peeps, and I hope I get to meet Dave and Carleen. I've been going up to our cabin in Gustavus for 15 + years now and am trying to figure out how to get air fills out there so I can dive there!
