Hello from Mattwave

Post by mattwave »

Hello NWDIVECLUB!

I have joined, took me a little while for an intro.

I love diving, my Dad taught me over a decade ago, I have spent most of my life dedicated to outdoor and underwater activities, and my fam.
Beyond diving and diving instruction I enjoy Paragliding, snowboarding and kayaking, and a few other thrill rides.

NAUI is my game and I believe NAUI and NAUI-Tec are changing the face of diving one course at a time, don't be fooled, I do respect the other agencies and feel it's all in the instructor.

I do own a dive shop and I am trying to build it based on customer service and loyalty to the community.

My goals are to raise the titanic. Ha ha seriously there are a lot of gems in the PNW waters and I hope to preserve the privilege to dive them, and have fun doing so.

Drop me line if you ever want to go out and splash, I love diving.

Hey, Matt!

A hearty welcome to you!

For those of you that do not know, Matt owns Northwest Sport Divers in Kenmore. NWSD is a small, friendly shop that, while serving divers at all levels, particularly excels in technical dive training and equipment.

Another friend of mine, Dan Warter, also works at NWSD and is well known for superb equipment repair and maintenance. You've seen his name mentioned recently in a thread here on NWDC discussing euipment maintenance. Dan was actively involved in "the Warren Case" in Lake Crescent and they sell his film on the subject at NWSD.

Welcome again!

- John

NWSD has been my shop for the last year, and those guys are great. Plus the Aquaholic program, with all the nitrox you can eat for a year, is one of the best unsung deals out there. Ask Matt about it!

Another piling on of the praises for Matt, Dan, and NWSD. I've been going there for a year or so now, and besides the fact that Matt's really good at separating me from my money (here, try on this drysuit . . . I think it will fit great) I love the place.

Looking forward to checking out your shop someday and hope to see you at a local dive site soon.
I realy like the Logo on your dive site for the "NWSD"

I want a T-Shirt with that Logo! :supz:

Let us know when you want to come down to the South end(Tacoma), to dive some awsome sites down here.
