I'm a moderately new scuba diver with about 30 dives and PADI AOW certification. Started diving in August 2011, and I love it.
I dive in and around Victoria, BC, Canada, doing mostly shore dives any day of the week. Just did a boat dive yesterday, and it was amazing.
I creep mostly around ScubaBoard, but this site seems to be a good way to find dive buddies who know what they're doing.

I just got back from a week of shore-diving the Sechelt and Powell River area - just wonderful! Easy to get spoiled when you can find 80' viz and cloud sponges from shore!
