Longtime lurker here. All of you here crack me up, so I figured I would hop in and join the fun.
My sister and I certified together about a year and a half ago, and were immediately hooked! Well, almost immediately…..our first dive really sucked, the second (and subsequent dives) were nothing short of awesome.
She was fortunate enough to win a diving trip to Papua New Guinea, and I was fortunate enough to be her dive buddy, so I got to spend a glorious week diving in pristine warm waters.
I thought it would be hard to come back to the PNW after that, but I truly love diving here.
Prior to the trip, we were lucky enough that Grateful Diver was able to squeeze us into his AOW class. The class was incredible, and Bob has been a fantastic and patient dive buddy ever since.
However, my sister followed her heart and moved to LA, my other dive buddy just isn’t as into it anymore, and Bob can’t dive with me all the time, so….I need buddies!
It seems like some of you might like to dive every once and while. Truth, or terrible lies?
