Been here a while, finally saying Howdy!

Post by climb2freefall »

Hey everyone! Donny Rebman here. Looking to get involved a little more with the Dive Club. Im based out of Oak Harbor, working on getting my DCS within the year (fingers crossed!!). I am an expreienced skydiver, rock climber and as of last year, a hungry hungry diver! I usually dive out of Keystone and Admiralty, looking to make some ventures out and about Washington to expand my diving experience. I make quite a few videos using my GoPro. I will post them as I get them. If you are interested in seeing some of the work I do with the Go Pro, feel free to view my channel on it.

Glad to be here and look forward to talking with you all!

Regards,

Donny

Welcome! Uh...I gotta ask- what does DCS stand for? I thought it meant "DeCompression Sickness?"

EDIT- Hey, watched your video from the link- good stuff! Your lady seems very cool, and....well.....forgiving! Anyway, nice job, it was well put together. Congrats on the baby!

As a Bellinghamster I mostly dive Whidbey Island. I try to dive most Thursday evenings after work. Let me know if you are ever looking for a buddy. P.S. nice go pro shots. I just got one of those. I only have one really crappy "leak test" video so far but going to keep shooting...

Welcome! :eric:

We get to Keystone a fair bit and would love to meet new divers and establish some contacts for buddies when we go over there and vice versa!

If you ever plan to come play this side of the pond, please let me know!

Yeah, those cameras are amazing. Im ordering a second one so I can stick on my buddy as we dive. They are incredibly versatile. I just finished up a great drive dive we did yesterday, and stayed up late to put into video. enjoy! Looking forward to linking up with you on a Thursday!

I will for sure, I will be sliding over to a different shift at work so I will have Tu-Th off during the week, plenty of time to hit up spots around the area that a normal weekend excursion may not allow! Looking forward to diving with you guys!

Way cool vid! That could be a go pro commercial. I work night shift and usually try to dive after work around 10/11 on weekdays. Hit me up if you want to check out any of the Tacoma sites
