intro

Post by ratfishlvr »

hello. just getting started here, I've been diving for about 10 yrs. Starting the Divemaster program this month. I'd like to find some buddies in the south sound area. My wife dives with me but she's not available much due to her work schedule. So if anyone is located in the south sound and maybe wants to get in some morning dives let me know. be safe.

Welcome to the club. You will find that there is a Thursday crew that is from the south. keep an eye on the Dive Planning section as they usually post their dives.

Hope to see you at one of the south sound dives and welcome aboard. I've had a pretty dry spell lately but hope to step it back up and reconnect with them myself. You won't find nicer folks...

Thanks! I look forward to it. Did a night dive at Les Davis last night and spent some quality time with a Harbor Seal that was using our lights to find fish. Man that was fun !!

Sounds great, thanks! I'm coming from Gig Harbor. What canal sites to do you like that are over this way?

I normally launch my boat from Misery Point right outside Seabeck.
From Gig Harbor its about a 40min drive.
From there I can go to Flagpole,Elephant wall, Rosie's, The Pinnacle, Pulali east and west walls and a few less know sites.
Ed's fault up in Discovery Bay is also a great place to dive.
