Spearfishing in seattle area

Post by deniz »

Hello everyone. I am Deniz live in North Seattle. I go free diving and spearfishing. I don't have a boat. I am willing to travel 2-3 hours for diving.
Let me know if anyone interested going spearfishing. Thanks

I'm also looking to go spearfishing, and learning about the local regs on it.

Recommendation is to head out to Neah Bay / straits to get your Spearo on. The critters in the main sound are under a lot of pressure from pollution and sport fishing as it stands and we need all the breeding stock possible intact. I realize the regulation allow it but since you asked... :)

There is a solid group of free divers who make the trek out to straits regularly.

Not to mention all the central (and south) puget sound species have A LOT more contaminants than their cousins in the Straits.
