New Diver, ready to get connected

Hi all,

New diver in Portland, OR. I am currently in my OW course and will be certified in July. My plan is to get as many dives in as possible throughout August/September, and get AOW certified in Sep/Oct, as well as Nitrox + Drysuit.

I of course plan to do dive trips to warm locations, but I am enthusiastic about getting involved in local cold water diving here in the PNW.

Look forward to getting connected with the local community and going on some dives!

Hopefully I will meet some of you soon.

Welcome to the board! We have a pretty large group of Oregonians here, hopefully you can hook up with them. Hood Canal and Puget Sound diving are only 2.5 hours away, lots of people come this way on the weekends and a few during the week as well.
