Introducing Myself

New to cold water diving. Living on Bainbridge Island. I have some warm water vacation diving experience. Just decided in October to take a drysuit class. Had a great time. I have all my own equipment except the drysuit/mid layer/boots but they are on order! Hoping for delivery end of February. I have been an avid boater for many years and love it out on the water. Would like to find friends interested in easy dives and working on skills. :taco:

Welcome to the board, and to cold water diving! Good call on the drysuit, you don't HAVE to have one here, but it sure is nice.

Yay! Welcome! There are some avid divers on the island, like Chuck, Jeffrey and Bruce you should meet if you don't yet have a buddy.

Lucky, you have easier access to some fun advanced sites like Point Hudson and Salt Creek over there. As well as some on/near the island including by boat.

Have fun, and hope to see you at a site soon. Maybe we can take you to one of the above sites sometime.

Or come by for an easy dive at Redondo some time. Jeffrey often joins.

Welcome aboard! I'm interested in doing some 'low barrier' dives. I'm shaking the rust off and did my refresher a month-ish ago and have done a few dives since.
