Hey everyone. I got certified many years ago (SSI @ AquaticSports) but haven't been able to get out for a while now. I just dropped my equipment off at Aquatic Sports here in Portland, OR and am chomping at the bit to get wet.

I got certified on a brisk December day at Mike's Beach Resort in Washington. It was awesome. I've dreamed about SCUBA diving for a LONG time and finally did it. Well then the work hit, the family hit, the _______ hit *you fill in the blank*. The worst part is I let it distract my diving.

Anyhow, I'm dying to get back in and am working on a buddy of mine where I work to get his behind in gear as well.

I just got back from a vacation in Oahu and am looking forward to heading back to get deeper under water. I got some snorkeling and body boarding in, but no surfing or diving.

Anyhow.. I'm rambling. Just wanted to say HELLO and look forward to maybe meeting some of you in the wet plane..

so cool and close to home a bit shallow at 35 feet but lots of bottom time

welcome to our little POD ( Pool of Dive Buddies )
watch for my post usaly try to hit it ever couple weeks or so

For the welcome guys.

I'm still waiting for AquaticSports to finish my equipment check. When that's done, I'm planning on doing a SCUBA Skills Update, just to go over everything again.. :)

When that's done, I'll be ready and looking for some dives.

Netarts.. really.. I'll have to check that out. My family and I got there quite often. Hmmm...
