Hello!
I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. Been living in Seattle for 10 years now, and I have probably run into a fair few of you over that time. Started diving in 1997, became an instructor in 2000, and have spent time working in California, the Bahamas, Florida, and here in Washington. I spent time as photo pro, and worked for a time at Optical Ocean Sales, before starting at the Seattle Aquarium. I'm a Marine Science Interpreter there, and one of the staff divers doing presentations and research diving. Say "hi" next time you're there! I also did some diving with Marker Buoys a few years ago, so hello again to all of you!
My impetus for joining is that I am in the process of moving, and clearing out some unused gear. It's easier dealing locally, so I'll be posting some things in the next few weeks.
Happy Diving!
Alex

Hope we can dive with you before you sell your gear. What is your favorite local dive spot?

Re: Finally Joined!
Not to worry, there is plenty of gear I still use when I get the chance to dive for fun (which is not as often as I'd like these days)! I have simply failed to pare down as I've replaced stuff, and I'm finally getting around to it. Extra BCs, spare drysuit, camera, possibly some regs.
If I have to pick one site, it's Keystone, though the beach is weird now. Most of my favorites are in the North Sound. Or we could just say Browning Pass if we're considering that local to Seattle. Technically not in the Salish Sea ... but hard to beat anywhere.
