Dive Site Name: Mukilteo Clay Wall

Skill Level: Intermediate

Current Sensitive: Yes, dive slack or less than 1 foot per hour exchange

Location/Address: Mukilteo Lighthouse Park

Directions: Take Mukilteo Speedway to the Mukilteo ferry then left on Front Street, left into the park after passing Diamond Knot Brewery. Go to the south end of the park and park in or as close to the traffic circle as you can.

Free Parking: Yes

Staging Area: excellent in winter but crowded in summer.

Surface Swim: Medium/short

Nearby Facilities: bathrooms, shelters, sandy beach and play area

Special Considerations: It is very silty so keep your fins away from the bottom.

Maximum Depth: The max dept of the wall is 75 feet but you can chase crabs as deep as you want and then some.

Known Hazards: Boat traffic - boat launch nearby.

Dive Site Description: Clay wall(s) 1 to 10 feet high full of holes holding juvenile Wolf-eels and GPO's and hiding lots of little creatures. The nominal depth is 50 FSW at zero tide. There is another 1 foot high wall to the North at about 25 FSW.
