Redondo Beach Driving Directions

Post by Maverick »

these Directions are From Grateful Diver.

Direx to Redondo for those coming from the Seattle area ...

- Take I-5 south to exit 147 ... 272nd St.
- Turn right at the bottom of the ramp.
- Stay on that road. You'll cross Pacific Hwy (Rt. 99). After that the road will wind down a hill and toward the water.
- When you reach the waterfront, you see Salty's Restaurant.

Diving. . . is an active physical form of meditation. It is so silent- You're like a thought.

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES. NOT REALLY GOOD FOR
ANYTHING, BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE
STAIRS.

one quick warning, when you get off of I-5 and head west get in the right hand lane or you will be forced to turn left onto hwy 99 after crossing 99 get in the left lane and follow it down the hill.

Anyone care to add a dive site description to this listing? Maybe some photos?

It's probably the most dived in spot, after Cove 2. I guess it's so common that no one thought to put up a description of it.

Sorry, I probably should've included the "pokey stick" smilie to indicate sarcasm...

I've dived there more than any other site, really...
