I may be interested in the South End classes. What are we talking about in terms of cost?

I would be interested in the South End (closest to Renton). I'd also be interested in the advanced O2 and neuro as add-ons.

I'll try to PM everyone with course pricing/options tomorrow. Right now I'm off to prep gear for tomorrow (Sund Rock!).

I'd be curious about the cost as well. I'm not sure I can make it up there, but I might.

Oh yes--I'm still interested too.

I have a feeling Val got (understandably) distracted by the theft and her want/need to move. :)

I'm in San Antonio right now, waiting for my plane homeward. We're still on and I'll post prices tonight when I get home.

Thanks for your patience.

I'd like to do the Northend version if it looks like that will work out. If you decide to do only one in the South end, I still would like to get in on it.

Okay gang, I'm so sorry for the delay in getting pricing together, school/work/car issues have been preoccupying my time. My apologies.

Plan for a full-ish day.

Meet at Bob's at 9:00 AM.

- CPR with AED/1st Aid first thing. Plan 2-3 hours.
- O2/Adv O2 plan 2-3 hours

If you want the DAN AED card you'll then only need one more DAN class to reach Dive Emergency Specialist rating (along with Rescue ). I can easily tack on Neuro which is one of the best courses for PNW diving. It makes for a long but interesting, fun and fulfilling day.

Check your PMs for pricing.

Forgot to mention, dress for comfort as we'll be on the floor for most of the day.

I'll bring sub sandwiches, if you want to potluck for any snackage that would be fun :burntchef:

Well it looks like my first aid will need to wait as I will be in Alaska for an important business trip during that weekend. I can join the north one at a later date.

Just finished getting everything packed up for the next two days of teaching. Sheesh! There is the same amount of stuff or more than when I'mt teaching OW  It will be fun times!

I'll bring a big sub sandwich for a working lunch; how about BYOS (Bring Your Own Snackage) for the rest? Dress for comfort, we'll be on the floor a lot.

No worries about prepping ahead of time, we'll go through it all in stages and have plenty of time to practice. Please be at Bob's House by 9:00 AM ready to go.

See ya then and there!

And boy did you miss out! Val's knowledge and experience is amazing, and I cannot recommend her enough as an instructor. When you add in Bob's additional knowledge (and host duties), it was a fantastic day of learning. And it didn't hurt to have Scott and Derrick making us laugh so hard we cried. Those two are NOT allowed to take another class together!

Thank you Valerie!!! =D>

I'd like to think that for every joke, one-liner, or movie quote I told, I asked a good question, too. I would be wrong, but I'd like to think that... Seriously, it was an incredibly informative day, and thanks to Bob for hosting, Valerie for teaching, and my classmates for being committed and having a sense of humor.
