Tonight! CAL Fish ID - Pesky Perch and Scalawag Sculpins

Post by nwscubamom »

Since we have so many divers that wander on down to California to dive, and since we share so many species between PNW and California, I thought some of you may be interested in tonight's Fishinars. So here's the blurb!

Learn California Fish ID (free!) while sitting in your favorite easy chair at home! Tonight's fun, short 45 min sessions will include those Pesky Perch (7pm) and Scalawag Sculpins (8pm).

Fishinars are put on by REEF to train divers in Fish ID so they can help monitor fish populations while on their recreational dives. (you only need to know how to ID one fish to get started - no need to be an expert). However, anyone is welcome to attend - divers or not.

Classes are free but you must register for each session you'd like to attend.

Hope to 'see' you there!
