Postby spatman » Mon Jun 17, 2013 8:00 am

Saw this article linked to over on The Deco Stop. It's a nice concise look at IPE that every diver should read and be aware of.

To summarize the symptoms experienced during IPE:

It happens while in the water
It can happen after a few minutes or later (20, 30 or more minutes) into the dive
Unexplained coughing
Coughing up metallic tasting fluid
Wheezing
Difficulty breathing
Tight chest
Feeling panicky
Feeling like you are drowning
