Sea Star Wasting Syndrome Seminar

Post by heartcrab »

Join the friends and members of the Bellingham Dive Conservancy in learning how to properly identify and record observations of sea star wasting syndrome for research. Dr. Ben Miner could use the help of divers monitoring the disease at local dive sites. He will be teaching a seminar on Tuesday, May 20th from 6 to 8 PM at Washington Divers in Bellingham. This is the second part of the Wasted Seminar held last month to educate the whole community on sea star wasting syndrome. Next week's seminar is intended for divers who may be interested in scientific diving, want to protect the ecology of marine habitats, or simply need another excuse to dive!
