DAN Hazardous Marine Life Injuries

DAN Hazardous Marine Life Injuries

Learn how to identify hazardous marine life, to recognize possible injuries caused by marine life, to provide first aid for these injuries and how to avoid them. Local hazards will be reviewed. First Aid techniques such as bandaging and splinting will also be covered.

Pre-requisites: None, but CPR/First Aid recommended

When: Monday, December 10, 2007 at 6:00 pm

Where: UWS, Federal Way

Cost:

$85.00, includes books
discount $20 if also taking O2/Advanced O2 combo Dec 3 (a savings of $45.00 over taking separately)

Counts toward the coveted Dive Emergency Specialist Rating!

Come on people! These classes are some of the best you will ever get! They will dispell some of the myths surrounding jelly stings!

I didn't know there were many hazardous marine life in local waters...except for some things you might try to eat.

Just pick up any of the recent DAN magazines - Valerie is their new poster girl. We're quite fortunate to have such a huge celebrity among us!

Oh yeah, and she's a kick-ass DAN (and soon to be scuba!) instructor too!

Any DAN class you take from Valerie is a very rewarding (and fun) event.

Guess I should have been paying attention, Jude and I are in Bellingham and if we had known we could have postponed our gas blending class and sat in on yours.
