Baby in the water here...and a new member as well. i have been told since getting my Open Water Cert. that i need to join Northwest Dive Club, more like harassed
but i'm glad i did...pretty cool to go through and read posts about dives i have heard about.dive training started for me almost six years ago when i met my boyfriend, BigSky. Every dive was so cool, not just the big ship wrecks, but also the little insignificant ones...by the way, i met him when he was sporting a single tank, a wanna-be tech diver, now a meg man.
so, last christmas i put "dive lessons from Ron Akeson" at the top of my list and that's what i got.
i didn't know if i was going to enjoy it....problems with gear, buoyancy, etc....until i had one AWESOME dive that made it all worth while and made me want to continue. it was so exciting to enter a whole different world while doing something special with my man
that's it...now i'm hooked! but i'm a little blonde when it comes to dive lingo (not to mention i still feel like i shouldn't be talking like a diver) so bear with me. i'm still a crawler, (although buoyancy is getting better) a baby to this new hobby!
