Doc Frankenstein sends his faithful servant Igor to find suitable brain so he can finish his experiment. Igor finds it in the waters of Holmes Harbor... I think

Those are the wierdest looking jellies, I've never seen them before! Whidbey Island? What's their depth range? Come to think of it, where the heck is Holmes Harbor? Is it a shore dive?

Glad you're posting some of your work here, I was looking forward to it.

This is a first time sighting for me , only a quarter of inch long, so most my shots are out of focus, it was drifting through in about 15 feet of water. According to a book, this jelly is pelagic and lives only for a month or two. Holmes Harbor is in Freeland, shore dive for me, but only on high tide, for it is very shallow for a long stretch, and past the Eel Grass patch in about 15-20 feet of water it slopes gently into deeper water, not much there to see. I use it when Keystone and Langley are too rough or not diveable for some reason.
