Hi All,

I finally decided to sign up after Diving Dave in Sitka recommended this board!

I'm Dave in Juneau, AK a LDS owner and Instructor.

Been diving here in Alaska for 18 years and my current focus in diving is going to be switching to a rebreather ASAP...

Just got back from a few days diving with Dave... had a blast. Bassman and I have had our eye on some Juneau diving as well. I have some land, a small cabin and boat in Gustavus. VERY curious if there are any divers out there. Would LOVE to do some diving around Pleasant Island. Have you ever gotten that far out?

We always come through Juneau on our way to Gustavus.

I think there is one guy who occassionally dives out there. He ships his tanks back and forth once in awhile for fills. Otherwise not much diving in Gustavus. Hoonah, has several divers and some really good diving over there.

Calvin, If you're serious about rebreathers, I can recommend an excellent instructor in the Seattle area, She's the best.
