Atomic Masks

Has anyone used the new atomic masks with the new "high-quality" glass? Is it really clearer? or better?

If you are talking about the shadow, it is a great mask but I don't personally think it is better mask than the Mares X-vision.

I meant the Atomic Aquatics SubFrame, but I guess they prolly put the 'ultra-clear glass' in all thier masks. I don't like the looks of the mares mask.

I dive this mask. It is the best mask I have ever used. There is a difference in the type of glass. For most people, in our water, you don't notice it as much but I can tell the difference. I like the fit of both the frameless and subframe mask. I have a X-vision mask too but I like the fit of my Atomic mask better.

I am excited to try the new Atomic ARC mask. Its a bit pricey (MSRP $150) but it allows you to actually see better as you go deeper and at night.

I don't see anything about the ARC.. I assume it's not out yet. what does it do?

Expect to see upgrades to the Atomic website this next week. I will get the new ARC masks in on Friday. I might take one with me to PBC this weekend to try it out and I will give a gear report once I get back.
