Closed on Sunday?

Post by cardiver »

I can't believe that NEITHER of the two dive shops in Puyallup is open on Sunday. You'd think that if one was closed the other would be open to capture all of the business........

Yes it is. I don't think that I would call Amy at home and ask her to come down and fill my tanks.......

Sorry everyone for being closed on Sundays. However, we live 6 minutes from the shop, so if you need an air fill, just give us a call. It is OK...we don't mind! We will actually be there most Sundays anyway if we are teaching classes, and around 9-10am for shop dives. The hours are going to be weird on Sundays in the winter so it was just better if we let everyone know that we will not be open on Sundays on a regular basis until Spring. If you call us on Saturday and let us know you need to come in, we will be there for you.

Most of the dive centers in the area are closed on Sunday too and we apologize for joining their ranks. However, being open on Sunday was too expensive for us and to keep costs down, we are going to close on Sundays until March 31. Hope everyone understands and forgives us for this inconvenience.

I still wouldn't bug you on a day off for air though..........

I'm thinking that you need more tanks Ron.

Yep. :calvin:

Time to buy more tanks!

:boucegreen:

And no need to thank me for coming up with a solution for you - that's what dive buddies are for! :)

Don't laugh -- have you seen Amigo's down in Ft. White, Florida? Next time you hit the caves, you should check it out. Fills can be 24/7 with prior arrangement - and it's all self service fills of anything (mix, air, o2, etc), with PayPal check out. Wayne's got the coolest shop I've ever seen, bar none. The only thing missing is the beer 'fridge.

It'd probably never work up here, though :)

I have thought long and hard about doing this. I would love to do this but.... My insurance company says it is NOT a good idea.
