"Lake Washington diver rescued

Seattle firefighters rescued a diver from Lake Washington on Sunday morning after he was reported in trouble.

The man, whose name was not released, had been under water roughly four minutes when firefighters arrived around 8:30 a.m. and began CPR, the Seattle Fire Department said.

The incident happened just north of the Interstate 90 bridge.

The man was taken to Virginia Mason Medical Center, where he was alert"

usually in the absence of a fatality or one of the involved divers posting about the incident there's very little information which surfaces...

i do not know who the diver is, but last i heard he was being released from the hospital this week. i was relieved to find out he survived, and i sincerely hope he is doing okay.
