Monday, 2-22 @ Redondo

Well was gonna be there for second dive and beyond but Emo had to bail out at the last second. Something about saving all of mankind from destruction again. :cylon:

Anyway I'm sorry I missed out today. I think I'll actually do a few things around the house today.

Thanks to Ron, Bric and Bill for a Great day of diving at Redondo! We met at 0930 and deceided to go out to the bottle field for the fist dive. Ron asked me to lead the group down the line. Come to find out later that I was supposed to be the bait for the attack Ling that has been there lately. Thanks, Buddy! No ling today and we went to the bottle field. Not many critter's out but viz was descent at about 20ft, but a bit silty.

Bric and I joined up for dive #2 and we started on the North side in the Eel Grass beds. We did manage to find a couple of Lumpy's. Then dropped to the bug, the rock wall, and then south to the aquarium. There seemed to be a few more critter's on the North side. Another Great day at "The Dond."

Bob, Ron and Bill thanks for a great day. The viz was about 25 feet and the water seemed colder than the 48 degrees my computer read. It was nice to see the lumpies, they have gotten big (golfball sized). The dives were relaxed and slow paced, perfect for critter hunting and pictures. Guys, thanks again.

Nice one, Ron. But you and that ling had a thing going last time we were there . . . it was almost a steel-cage-death-match sort of thing, but still . . .
