Post by nice-diver »

hello, my name is Jeff and I love to scuba dive. I have a really huge desire to stay current and in the water as much as I can from now until the end. Padi open now, gonna get the advanced in january up at mikes; I love it up there. I love my s-o-t kayak and my dry and wet cameras. Glad to be here and hope to dive with ya all soon.

Welcome aboard

Have you tried any dives in Newport or places on the Central Oregon coast?

If your ever up byTillamook or Netarts let Sparky or myself know, we like to dive there at least once a month when we can

Welcome fellow webfoot.
With the size of the Oregon contingent we're going to have a meet&greet dive soon.
pm if you're coming to the Portland area and we could hit the lake.
See-ya,
Jeff

Hagg lake, Timothy lake, Trillium, Clear, Estacada, Roslyn, there's a few available although access to some is getting dicey and the vis sucks right now at most, about 0 due to runoff. Need to check Hagg this week, hopefully it has vis.

I want to dive Clear Lake! :bounce:

We'll survive the cold! :pale:

Hey, how about NW DiveClub outing to Clear Lake! Plan it out, maybe do some camping, maybe hit a couple of other Oregon dive sites? Maybe Netarts on the way down, then Clear Lake or ?? How about Spring? Summer? Ideas? :bounce:

So, how about it you Oregon divers! Anybody want to set something up for the future to prove that all of the good diving is NOT just in Washington? :supz:

I like the north end at the resort end ( campground at the south end). Two weekes ago was the one saturday that the care taker had off for vacation and wouldn't let us stay.

My first time was around fathers day, the big concer is the mosquitos and hoilday rush like graduation and fathers day at the same time.
#-o

I'll dive anywhere anytime, especially in oregon with my soon to be new friends
