Do you know who the manufacturer is on that 27?

Yeah an AL27 is a bit odd. Sure its not a 30cf?Mattleycrue76 wrote:Do you know who the manufacturer is on that 27?

Re: FS: AL-27
That's kinda what I was wondering. The only 27s that came up on google were steel tanks. If it is a 30 I'd be interestedCaptnJack wrote:Yeah an AL27 is a bit odd. Sure its not a 30cf?Mattleycrue76 wrote:Do you know who the manufacturer is on that 27?

Re: FS: AL-27
It's an aluminum Luxfer, S/N LR1030. First (manufacturer's) hydro 09/99, second hydro 1/06. Dimensions are 18" high by 5-1/4" diameter. "S27" is stamped on it next to the hydro date. Definitely 27 ft3. Googling "Luxfer 27 scuba tank" got a few hits. Evidently the actual tank capacity is 27.9 ft3 at 3000 psi.
Re: FS: AL-27
I used to have a 27, they exist, just rare.
Re: FS: AL-27
Tank is still available. Offers?
