Silent diving address change

I sent my Inspiration lid for its annual service to the address on the service form.
WRONG, they have moved and didn’t change the address on the form (Good thing I have insurance).
Also, I found out yesterday (too late) that NWSD is an authorize service center.

After the fiasco with the wrong address, I got UPS to re-route and my lid got to Silent Diving on Tuesday.
By Thursday it was done and I got a FedEX tracking number yesterday.
I should have it by the end of next week. I am very excited to stop blowing bubbles

Pardon my ignorance but why does the lid need anual servicing? I know I'm missing something here...

I am very excited to stop blowing bubbles

Here here I was very glade to get my unit back after loaning it to George (Gill Envy) to take his crossover class. Blowing bubbles was a pain and I would start to get cold after 90min in the water something that does not happen to me on my baby.
