Mystery worm ID

Couldn't find this one Lamb and Hanby - maybe it's a retracted version of some really long worm? Any ideas?

I'm thinking either Leptosynapta (a small, unusual burrowing sea cucumber) or an echiurid (spoon worm). Not seeing some muscle bands that should be visible on the cucumber, so leaning more towards an echiurid.

Thanks, Greg! I wouldn't have thought of a spoon worm (the only one in H & L is pink) but I guess it's one of the 18 others that live here in the PNW. It's staggering how many different worms there are in these water.

I'd go with Sipunculus - that reticulated pattern in the skin is typical for the genus
