Introduction
Hi there all. I live in Vancouver, WA. I certified open water June 2009 at Mikes Beach Resort from Seven Seas Scuba. I did dives at Clear Lake, PAC Adventures Charters, Alki Cove Seattle, and a few others. Later that year I got advanced certified. At this moment I only have Altitude diver specialty. I am hoping to get rescue diver and nitrox certified this year. I try to dive at least once or twice a month. I currently do not have a dive buddy that I dive with regularly. It would be great to find a few people to dive with regularly. I guess that's about it for my diving record.
Re: Introduction
Welcome and Fear not. You will find lots of dive buddies here. In fact there is quite a large Portland/Vancouver contingent here as well as the Puget Sound bunch.

Howdy Speed Racer,
Welcome to the club. This is a great place to hook up with dive buddies. Seven Seas is a pretty active shop with lots of shop dives but both Vancouver and Portland have dive clubs. In Vancouver we meet the first Monday of the month at Round Table in Salmon Creek http://groups.yahoo.com/group/go_scuba/ . The Portland group meets the first Thursday of the month at Busters BBQ in Tigard http://www.oregonscuba.com/. These are also good places to meet dive buddies, ask questions, and swap dive stories.
