The vis at Day Island was 8-10 up top and a good 20 on the wall, nice dive, all the usual wolfies and octos, better than the Ruston Way side. 2-4 ft up top clearing to 10 ft at 30 ft, then 20 plus down at 90 to 210 ft.

Ah, the imagery!

Point Hudson (Port Townsend) is increasingly snotty to 60ft or so, but it's big lumpy stuff and easy to see through.

Thanks again to Octoloco for loaning me a light -- second day in a row. It's like demo-days at the scuba light store.

And hey, I finally found a "torpedo" ballast bottle after years of looking. Woo-hoo!

Dove off the Oregon Coast on Saturday. Visibility was 20 - 30 feet with blue skies overhead. Needless to say a great time was had by all :), I'll to do a writeup on the sea life we came across when I get a chance to look some things up :).

Viz yesterday at Jorsted Creek and Flagpole (Hood Canal): Lovely "fresh" water layer down to about 20 feet, then "I can't see the front of my scooter" to 50. Below 50, 20 feet or more.

Friday morning at 3 Tree was more of the same. Maybe a fuzzy 10' of viz at all depths.

Cool pictures!
Three Tree on Thursday night was far better than Redondo. Several Rattfish, incredible Bioluminescents!
Redondo on Thursday afternoon...1 to 5 feet! Maybe.

Cardiver, your pictures rock!

Norrander's reef was maybe 6ft vis today (5/17).

Lots of GPOs there this time -- kind of unusual. Maybe a big year for the octopi?

Hudson Point (?) on the waterfront in Port Townsend. 15' viz. and sunshine in the sky. I think the drive was worth it today...

Girldiver, nice to see you today!

I might have been diving myself except I had a scheduled narcosis event at the dentist...

The viz in my pool this afternoon was nice. I could see all the earthworms clearly. The sowbugs were a little fuzzy, though.

The Southern Bonaire sites - Red Slave to Hidden Beach, had a fair amount of wave action so viz was reduced to around 50', but by the afternoon it was clearing to around 60.

Still not too shabby! \:D/
