Roatan Trip

Hey, we got back on saturday from our awesome trip to Honduras. We stayed at fantasy Island and had such a good time. Anyway I posted some new photos on flickr of the trip if you want to check them out.

Um ok, we dove:
connies dream (where we saw the dolphins)
doc's dive, Mr. Bud, valley of the kings (twice) ,gold chain, 40 ft point (3 times) , missing link, prince albert (twice), ironshore, pirates point, carib point,calvins crack..
I love that Octo photo too, he was determined to get the little stuff in there!

Wethought it was good. we really enjoyed the diving there. The food was ok, rooms were nice, good value! That is what we liked the best!

hey cera please send me some info on your trip, me and my g/f have been wanting to do another warm water trip and i promised we would rent one of those huts over the water. let me knoe prices, airfare blah blah blah. thanks

I'm laughing my a$$ off right now. My girlfriend's name is Connie.

We definitely need to go to Roatan for a dive vacation, where Connie can dream of Calvin's crack.

Ok burntchef, we stayed at fantasy island, we got a special 609$ per week (all inclusive-aka unlimited diving, room, transportation and food) plus taxes and flew in for about 745$. but fantasy doesn't have over water rooms, (coco view does,) but our room was about 100 feet from the water.

If you're contemplating a vacation there, also check out CocoView which is across the lagoon from Fantasy Island. That's where we stayed, and I'd recommend the place highly.

Both offer fabulous diving in a reasonably-priced all-inclusive package (i.e. lodging, meals and diving are all included in the price).

I second the recommendation for CoCo View. ZenDiver2 & I stayed there in October and had a fantastic time. She wrote up a review when we got back that you can probably find by doing a search.
