Word on the street is that my suit will be back from DUI by then, and I'll be able to break this cursed dry spell (longest I've ever had-coming up on 4 months now.) And what better place to shake off the cobwebs than a NWDC club dive with some of my bestest buddies!

Bah! I hate how often life gets in the way of diving. Even if you can't dive it would be great to hang out with you during the surface interval! But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your suit will be back by then.

Pretty much show up and dive. Oh, and bring food to share (if you can) as long as it's not a bag of chips. I think that's about it. We're pretty easy-going folks . . .

Please come and find me when you show up, I'll have maps of the site as well as a rough idea of who is looking for a big, medium, or little buddy. I drive a blue subaru outback and I'll have some sort of NWDC thingy waving in the breeze (there's a penis joke in there somewhere but I'm too tired to find it....oh, if I had a nickel for every time I said that! Har-de-har-har). I'll be happy to sort you with someone.

It's a potluck, so please bring some food to share, as well as your gear and perhaps a chair for lounging during the surface interval. If you need gear and/or you want to try a bit of gear please let me know that as well - we can usually scrounge up everything from fins to scooters if you plan ahead.

Wow, great date choice! I'm in for at least the first dive on Saturday. I'm still a little buddy -- coming up on 50 dives, most in cold water, and while I'm pretty self sufficient I have soooo much to learn and really enjoy the chance to dive with someone who can provide some constructive criticism and suggestions.

I will be in the area that weekend for a fundraiser I have to attend Saturday afternoon at 3p... so I gotta find a place to shower and primp after the dive. (State park? Truck stop? Suggestions?)

I'm also looking to dive on Sunday if anyone is planning on gettin' in the water a time or two in the morning...

I didn't see that Funkydiver RSVP'd for us yet....so, yea, we are coming. As usual, will have a spare pair of force fins if someone wants to try them.

As for foodage? No idea, I am sure it will be a spur of the moment thing right as we start to pull into the parking lot, we will back out of it and head to the mini mart up the road...
