I will accept airsix's reply. It's scuba-related: it's from arguably the funniest piece ever written about someone's open water class.

"Brnoogle" is what everything divers say sounds like UW, according to Mr. Barry.

I have high expectations of Airsix. Don't let us down Ben and do something like make it totally googlable.

I'll do my best, Eric. I've been trying to think of something that is a combination of close-to-home and yet epic at the same time. Here we go...

Disclaimer: I do not know the answer to the following question. The winner of this round must convince Gamemaker Lundy their answer is valid.

Jacques Cousteau is commonly cited as having stated the waters of coastal British Columbia provide the greatest temperate diving in the world and are second only to the Red Sea.

Identify the authentic source of this statement.

LOL

Depending on whether anyone comes up with a legitimate answer, that may just score the point kat.

Ok, you got me. I should be more clear. What I mean is: where did this statement made by Jacques Cousteau originate? Did he write it in one of his books? Did he make this statement in a film documentary? Was it spoken across the podium at a fund raising event? Who recorded/witnessed the event? This is what I mean by authentic source - a specific and verifiable citation.

nope. this is a place with no shipworms (although rising temperatures are changing that). wrecks from centuries ago, still beautifully intact.

ding ding ding! they just found a dozen wrecks while plotting for a pipeline. wanted to check and make sure that nothing was in the way of the pipe AND nothing would be in the way of any anchored ships.

2 parter -- what CCR has the longest duration scrubber system, and who was the most...vocal.. proponent of that system (especially in very cold water :))

Part one: cis-lunar?

Part two: specifically, I don't have a clue, although I know that both Bill Stone and Richard Pyle are huge fans.
