Viz at Sund Rock Friday Oct 22 was 30'. No improvement in the low O2 situation.

Visibility: Zee's Reef, Friday 10/22, 20 hazy feet. Sunrise, 30+ and heavy octos. Redondo at night, probably 30 feet, the best viz I've seen there in quite a while.

Saturday, 10/23: Possession Point Ferry, FANTASTIC viz at the beginning of the dive (40?) but dropping steadily to about 20 by the end. Hat Island Fishing Reef, maybe 15 hazy feet.

Langley Tire Reef Sunday October 24, 2010

Post by Tubesnout23 »

Maybe the visibility was not as good as 40-50ft but it was the best I have ever seen at Langley Tire Reef. There was a lot of fish too:

Random note, found a line and followed it to 112ft. No luck on finding the end though

How were the conditions beside the visibility?

I mean the current! Did you catch a ride to and back or surface swam both ways/one way?

There was little to no current, but I had the scooter on this dive.

Tuwanek, out of Sechelt BC was 80' - simply spectacular. Additionally all our weekend dives in Jervis Inlet with Porpoise Bay were a solid 80' viz.
