We did the North Wall first, dropping at the bouy and descending to the 70 foot mark. Viz was 20+ feet at depth, with lots of large Ling and Rock Fish to keep us company. We found two large GPOs chillin' in their dens and 3 happy Wolfies. It was nice to see them a little more relaxed, since the last time we dove Sund in July they were laboring to breath...that seems to be past, since they all seemed rather happy in their homes and breathing normally. The Fish Bowl was colorful as usual with several different varieties of Star Fish hanging out...quite a beautiful sight.
During our surface interval, the only other divers at Sund (a small OW class) finished up and left, so we had the whole place to ourselves. We geared up and dove the South Wall, dropping in about 8 feet of water and swimming right over "the Rock" dropping onto the wall. Viz was 15-20 feet on average, especially at depth. There was quite a bit of krill above 30 foot, so that clouded things up a bit. Our max depth was about 50ish feet, but Sund didn't disappoint by providing us with 3 solitary Wolfies and a mated pair.
Overall, 2 great dives with my favorite dive buddy!
