I just recently learned of these guy's existence. Pretty crazy stuff. And they were fishing for Chilean Sea bass- I thought there was a global ban on that?

even if there was a world wide ban on sea bass fishing it wouldnt stop all the pirating of this species, wich of course is one of the major sources of depletion. but there is a very small legal fishery allowed to catch sea bass ( patagonian toothfish) and they are monitored by the m.s.c. ( marine steward council ) and thru them you will sea bass start to make a slow but spendy per pound comeback. the m.s.c. is a great organization and they will be a leader in recouping the major issues fisheries are and will be having.
