Re: Tapatalk on iPhone
i didn't do much, just complained a lot to the TT people. seems we weren't the only forum with this problem. so their latest update, as of about a week ago, fixed a bug that prevented people with several hundred (if not thousands of) PMs in their inbox from connecting to their inbox.
so they finally said, "oh hey, we think we fixed that with our latest release, which we didn't tell any of you about. try reinstalling it again."

Heh- I got the alert icon on my phone telling me I had 57 new PMs a week or so ago, but I still couldn't access my inbox until you reinstalled last night. Well, I could- but it was really painful- I'd click on it, put the phone down, and come back 5-10 minutes later and check on it- it would eventually go through, but it took 20 minutes one time. Really happy to have it back- didn't realize how much I used it until I didn't have it any more!

Re: Tapatalk on iPhone
mine wouldn't go through, i'd get some kind of connection error after it tried for a few minutes.
maybe it's time clean out some of the thousands of old PMs...

What? All those creepy 3am confessional ramblings from Marcoux? I gotta see if I can archive them somewhere. You were talking about putting up a website devoted to them at one point.....

By my rough calculations you are approximately 5.4 million times more popular than me.Joshua Smith wrote:Heh- I got the alert icon on my phone telling me I had 57 new PMs a week or so ago

Re: Tapatalk on iPhone
The funny thing about that was that I did not, in fact, have any new PMs. Took me 15 minutes to figure that out, though.

One time, to show me how much he loved me, Spatty sent me an email virus that filled my laptop up with schematic layouts of federal buildings, bomb making diagrams, long, angry political screeds, and links to several hundred white supremacy websites. Then it emailed a bunch of threats to every agency under the homeland security umbrella before freezing up. That was really funny.spatman wrote:you are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. i love everybody.airsix wrote:I know that's just your East coast way of saying you love me too.spatman wrote:don't need josh's PM count to know that.airsix wrote:By my rough calculations you are approximately 5.4 million times more popular than me.Joshua Smith wrote:Heh- I got the alert icon on my phone telling me I had 57 new PMs a week or so ago

I kind of lumped all of it together into a memoir I call "The Guantanamo Years." I wrote it using my own blood for ink, my mangled left pinkie finger as a pen, and the places my teeth used to be for an inkwell. My government issued boxer shorts were my paper, which I smuggled out through my attorney's briefcase. I had them all sent to you- please tell me youy saved all of them! I hope to publish and get on the Oprah book circuit next year.spatman wrote:Joshua Smith wrote:One time, to show me how much he loved me, Spatty sent me an email virus that filled my laptop up with schematic layouts of federal buildings, bomb making diagrams, long, angry political screeds, and links to several hundred white supremacy websites.
