edmonds oil dock

my brother and i went diving at the edmonds oil dock yesterday ( 2-28-07 ). the current was farely strong we had to keep pushing ourselves off the pillings. it was a great dive. but does any one know what this is? i have not the foggiest.
i have seen them before, but just never new what they are.

Looks like Painted Anemone (Urticina crassicornis). How was the visibility there? I checked your Flickr pics, you got some neat Sand Rose Anemone pictures, they are titled by mistake sea urchins

oops my bad! the vis was not that bad. we where able to see 20 - 30 feet. than-x for the info, i'l have to remember that for the next time i see them. have a good one jan!
