I ought to be able to come, it'd be great to meet some folks around here (you may remember me from this thread). Anyone have tanks I can borrow? I have both singles and doubles rigs with me, so anything works.

I'll bring extra single tanks, probably two 100's filled with ~32%.

All my tanks are DIN, but yeah, I can bring some extras filled with 32%.

I will stop by and re-create my role as strictly shore support (a/k/a P-pants grill asssistant). Will bring the usual cooler o' beverages with me.

I'm Down - This sounds cool. Have seen lots of divers at Redondo...hope it's a great dive site. Any chance of GPO there?

How deep is the dive site at Redondo?

I am comfortable in the water - but new....so could use an advanced dive buddy.
We can head up north if that's the place to catch "non-polluted" crab. I don't want to grow a 3rd nipple or anything.

Yep. There's at least one down there that should be within your range, from what I've heard.

As deep or as shallow as you want to go. If your cert level is Open Water, there's plenty to see at 60 feet and above. If you've done your AOW, you can go as deep as you please.

Well, that could be a problem: you might only find about 700 or so folks willing to buddy up with you! (Myself included.)

Hey scube_noob, here's a good site description/map of Redondo:

http://www.theperfectdive.com/DEF-Site.asp?sID=2

It is a good site -- some deep options for those that want it, but lots of stuff shallow, too. Ropes to follow... the site is coming back after a devastating storm some months ago (last fall?). So the life isn't what it has been in the past, but as all things, it will come again. See Bob's post of picks he took there today -- baby lumpies!

I should be in for at least one dive. I'll try and talk my wife into making some cupcakes.

There's usually several non-diving folks at these events ... and always someone around to joke with ... we don't all go in the water at the same time ...

Lumpia are always in demand. I'm sure that if you mention it a second time there will be a skillet of hot oil waiting for you when you arrive.

Ross, my Man, you got that right? I can hear the oil "Sizzling" in my ear. But then again, it's too much hassle if we fry it there. If I can make it, it will be ready to eat to the delight of our drooling brethrens. Did you say "Lumpia"? Ooooh la la!

I will try to make it - would love to meet folks... I'll try to convince Alexitt to come down too, if he's not working. If he can't make I will need a partner willing to put up with a newbie just fresh from OW certification dives.

Wife and son *might* come along and hang out on shore... Is the beach park a dog-friendly place? Our two four-legged kids would love to come play too if they're allowed :taco: I/we will bring something, not sure what... :stir:

Hey, how yall doin? I currently do NOT have any of my gear up here due to a military transfer to Ft Lewis. I also dont have my truck up here. I would have to rent my own gear. I'd be more than willing to compensate for gas, food, and anything.
