Wow what a magnificent beast.
8 minutes, 5 divers hovering around blondie swimming around the I-Beams, curling nose to tail you can see how massive she really is. Suprising how rarely you hear of divers seeing them feed, they sure look well fed.
Anyone?
BTW you were really there D & B, you were just too narced to recall.

How many times do I have to tell you? That was Junior, not Blondie. Junior's a seal, Blondie's a shark!
I'm still steamed over that one. I can't believe you guys ran into her, you were only 30 or 40' away from us!

Doug dude,
Where were your eyes last time we were out with Lynne and Kirk??? Junior was right there on my left plucking shrimp out of my light beam.
If everyone keeps doing night dives at Cove2 teh bottom's going to be barren soon!

But.....they're all night dives!
Blondie and company have been around a LOT lately. I think peak season for seeing sixgills is now February- March. I dove cove 2 at least 3 times a week in August and September and never saw one.

OK, I'm confused!
I'm assuming the OP is talking about 8 minutes at the I-Beams with a Six Gill,
not a seal??
And, what, no pics?!?!

Yes, Blondie is a six gill. Junior is the seal, BDub was making a funny . . .
RJack: I definitely was in the company of Junior last night, a couple times I almost had to push him away he would get so close. What a pest.

Note ALMOST. I have never touched a marine mammal, that would be harrassment under the MMPA.

Seconded. All that guy does is go see cool stuff underwater and then rub our noses in missing it.
And he wrongly accuses us of harrassing poor, innocent seals . . . expect to hear from my attorney. Slander is an actionable offense

And, upon further pondering, I am starting to wonder if maybe Bob ISN'T Junior's father.
Paternity test time, Junior's mom must have been the marine mammal equivalent of Anna Nicole Smith. Come to think if it, ANS did bear a passing resemblence to a marine mammals at times . . .

In fact, thinking about the paternity of Junior some more, if Matt is indeed his long-lost father, that would explain Junior's propensity to kick up silt all over Cove 2 . . .
Like Father . . .

Good point, it is never nice to pick on the new guy. You know I love you, I just express it in abusive ways.

Funny. I just sent BDub an email speculating that you'd probably pee in my tanks for this
