My mom taught kindergarten for 30 years, and she always read Make Way for Ducklings http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Make_Way_for_Ducklings to her kids each year. When my parents retired, they got to go to the boston gardens and see the bronze statues of the ducks.

I agree, ducklings are incredibly cute. In fact, a couple of years ago, they prompted me to buy a decent camera, when a mamma duck led her brood across the road in front of me, and i was so mad that I didn't have any way to take a picture. That camera led to scuba, and scuba led to UW photography...

So, one can say that ducklings made me a diver!
The student was ready.

I dunno, bunnies give ducks a run for their money. For example look at this diligent Airport Operation Duty Officer (and one of my dive buddies) saving a cute little defenseless bunny from a murder of crows. (and you wondered why they're called a murder)
